Today I visited Quynh and we had a pretty epic (fail at times) day.

Going out to eat, we decided to go to a Vietnamese restaurant.  Yummy food, for sure, but then half way through I asked Quynh “Hey, do they take credit card?” and she said “Yeah, they should”.  Then some donation singers came in and I felt in a charitable mood so I gave them a dollar.  But then we went to pay and it said cash only….FFFFFFF.  Pooling our money together, we were down 25 cents from the bill.  The cashier lady lets us off, but we both felt SUPER embarassed.

Afterwards, Quynh took me to a Japanese park, which was supposed to have koi fish.  We walked around the whole park, which was beautiful, but sadly no koi fish, just ducks.  Still, the area was really nice, and I enjoyed the walk.

Finally, we went to Target to get Quynh’s friend a present for her birthday, and Quynh wanted to decorate a pillow but it was lumpy (lol cheap products), so we ended up getting a Wii game for her.

Overall, fun day.  Sadly 3 more days until school starts, but I’m gonna make the most of them!

I think I am finally feeling spring break slowing down.  Popov left today until Saturday, and now I have no one to hang out with on command really.  Today I had lunch with Mr. Rainaldi (old math teacher).  We talked about random math stuff, and then some programming stuff.  A few years ago I would never thing that I could have fun talking to one of my old teachers.

Found out the rest of my grades today, and overall this quarter was even worse than last.  Fuck, I have to get out of this slump.  Other than that, today was a chill day.  Tomorrow I’m gonna try getting some work done without getting distracted.

Spring break barely started and it’s already fun.  I’ve been doing lots of catching up with old friends and just relaxing.  It’s all fun, and today wasn’t too exciting.  Worked out with Vince (it was a pain), and other than that just hung out with my mom and then Irwin (long time since I talked to him).

I’m expecting this break to be a good one.  Lots of relaxing and hanging out before back to school.

I passed ECS 60!  Yay!  I got a 75% in the class too, which is way higher than the passing 70% I was going for.

Overall today was a good day.  I hung out with Popov and played lots of games.  Then had some tap x (which is now called “Ocha”…wtf?) and then played a funny dinosaur board game with old friends.

What a good start to spring break.
